Class Of 2020: Colin Cromie

Class of 2020 alumni Colin Cromie is the kind of player that teammates will often refer to as a “glue guy”. No cheat in his game, and an eagerness to compete and support his teammates. For someone who has grown up in a hockey family, this could be the ultimate compliment. His father, Steve, is a mainstay among the hockey circles of the greater Chicago area, having coached everywhere in minor hockey to the AAA, Junior, and Pro hockey ranks.

Cromie, a ’99 forward from Elgin (IL) arrived to the Nepean Raiders organization after spending the 2018-19 season with the Kirkland Lake Gold Miners of the NOJHL, and the Langley Trappers (PIJHL) prior to that.

He will now be suiting up for the UMass-Dartmouth Corsairs, bringing his energetic, fast paced, in your face style of hockey to their lineup.

At the minor hockey level, he skated for the Chicago Young Americans before embarking on his junior hockey career.
