Class Of 2020: Carter Elrod

Carter Elrod is one of those players that if you don’t pay attention to the fabric of the game, the finer details associated with successful team, that may be overlooked. However, upon closer inspection, you find yourself impressed with the simple intelligence and discipline of his play. Sneaky skilled, the Bloomfield Hills (MI) native will bring that to the roster of Johnson & Wales University once NCAA hockey is cleared to return to action.

The Detroit Country Day School product helped Captain his High School team to a State Championship in his final season of play, another testament to what he brings to the table. The 5’11”, 170lbs natural pivot spent the pst two seasons with the East Cost Wizards under the tutelage of Freddy Meyer and Kory Falite – both who helped round out his game to help prepare him for the next chapter.
