Class of 2020: Emilie Venne

Emilie Venne, a 2002 G from Greely, ON, had two longterm goals to fulfill in her post secondary career – to play hockey at a reputable university and to study aerospace engineering. Venne is currently wearing #35 for the RPI Engineers while majoring in aeronautical engineering. ✅✅

Venne spent her minor hockey years with the Ottawa Ice organization before heading south of the border to Northwood School in Lake Placid, NY. Venne took the Northwood huskies to the NAPHA championship tournament and received the Charles Holt hockey award for her efforts.

Not only did Venne work herself onto the Dean’s list, she received the Ira A. Flinner award (academics), the science prize, and the Senior Scholastic Award at Northwood School. Good luck Em in all of your future endeavours.
