The Wilmette (IL) native split last season between the Powossan Voodoos of the NOJHL & Boston of the EHL. During his time in the NOJHL, re scored 8 points in 18 games, adding another 2 points in 14 games with BJR. The versatile 6’0″, 200lbs Thies can play both Forward & Defense, and is a graduate of Governor’s Academy.
