SEVEN PLAYERS RECEIVE STATE AWARDS

EndeavourSG would like to congratulate the following players on their respective awards and recognition afforded them by their peers after their play during the 2018/19 MIchigan High School hockey season:

ETHAN NYSTROM (Brother Rice)

The 6’0″, 160lbs RD had a banner year along the blue line for the Warriors, earning MIHL All-League, MIHL North Division First Team, MHSHCA DII All-State, & MHSHCA First Team honors.

BEN CHARBONNEAU (University of Detroit Jesuit)

The 5’10”, 190lbs LC was a mainstay for the Cubs offense, strong in both ends of the ice. He was named MIHL All-League, MIHL South Division First Team, MHSHCA DIII All-State, & MHSHCA First Team honors.

TROY CLARK (Orchard Lake St. Mary’s)

The 6’2″, 185lbs LF was a consistent producer for OLSM, providing both a physical & skilled presence. Clark was named MIHL North Division First Team honors.

BLAKE SALESIN (Cranbrook-Kingswood School)

The 5’10, 168lbs RD had a strong senior season at CK, a defender whose under the radar play resulted in consistent results. Salesin was awarded MIHL North Division Second Team, along with MHSHCA Div lll All-State 2nd Team honors.

MITCH MORRIS (Detroit Catholic Central)

The speedy 5’8″, 160lbs RW has a jet pack on his back. Morris possess a great head for the game, and was part of DCC Championship team this season. He was awarded MIHL North Division Second Team honors.

MATTHEW FLYNN (Orchard Lake St. Mary’s)

The 5’10’, 170lbs LD enjoyed an effective year of hockey, contributing effectively at both ends of the ice for OLSM. Flynn was awarded MIHL North Division Second Team honors.

JACOB ONSTOTT (Grand Rapids Catholic Central)

The 6’0″, 155lbs RC had a breakthrough season as a Junior at GRCC. Look for big things to continue for him next season, he was awarded MHSAA D3 Second Team All State honors.
