The 6’0″, 180 lb right shot defenceman from the Nashville, TN area is in his second year manning the point for the Carleton Place Canadians (CCHL Jr. A), where he’s notched 1 goal and 8 assists so far in the 2024-25 season.
Mathews is slated to join the Spartans in the fall of 2025, and will bring a steady, physical presence to their blue-line.
