EndeavourSG is proud to congratulate the Shreveport Mudbugs on capturing their 2nd Robertson Cup (NAHL Championship), including five members of the ESG family who all factored in the Championship run.
Cole Hudson, Aidan Metcalfe, Griffen Sanom, Matt Vermaeten, and Jacob Onstott all celebrated the team’s 4-2 win over a talented Aberdeen Wings squad last night in Minnesota in front of a raucous crowd of loyal fans.
Cole Hudson captured the Robertson Cup Tournament Playoff MVP, 1st Team All Tournament Goaltender, and was named 1st Star of the Game in the final. He helped the solidify the Bugs net on their run, going an impressive 9-0 with a 1.54 GAA & 0.941 Save%, finishing a storybook season for the NY native.
Sanom (Hobart), Metcalfe (Trine), Hudson (Vermont), and Vermaeten (Canisius) all will move on to the NCAA ranks next season at their respective programs, while the torch will be passed to Jacob Onstott to help lead the Shreveport offense into 21-22
