EndeavourSG staff member JR Goulet recently completed participating for Team Canada at the recent World Floorball Championships, where they placed 12th in the world, tops among any non-European country – and clinching a spot in the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, Alabama.
Goulet, a Stittsville (ON) resident, played a gruelling schedule of 8 games in 10 days. The netminder saw action in 1 pre-tourney contest, 2 round-robin games, then finally the final placement match. He finished with 3 wins and one no decision (that ended in a shootout). He was named Player of the Game in that final match, a 6-5 shootout loss to Poland.
