ESG is pleased to congratulate George McBey of the Brookings Blizzard (NAHL) on his commitment to join the University of Alabama-Huntsville immediately for the fall of 2019.
Last season saw McBey post time with both the Springfield Jr. Blues & Fairbanks Ice Dogs before becoming the workhorse for the Blizzard. He appeared in 24 games, amassing a 3.81 GAA and .911 Save %, while facing 970 shots over 1408 minutes of play.
McBey was also a participant in the NAHL’s 2019 Top Prospect Tournament.
