Our program is built on surrounding players in an environment which will challenge them across their individual skill sets, while especially addressing their current “compete” levels, in an environment designed for expert feedback from professionals within the field who have coached at all levels of hockey – be that the NHL, International, Junior A, and more. The program focuses on development with a large portion of this being position specific work, tactics, and foundation skills.
We are looking for competitive players who are eager to develop their character and skills, while educating themselves about the opportunities ahead of them in the game. The program will run for approximately 8 weeks beginning in April. Weekly sessions for the athletes will run for 2 hours on-ice and 1 hour off-ice. Each on-ice session will have a theme and consisting of skating/skill development; furthermore, it will delve into position specific work followed by tactical application of these skills in a competitive environments. Players can even “make-up” missed sessions, while also skating with more advanced players (we try to include several of our Jr. A and NCAA clients with the players to help them understand ‘pace’).
